Marlenea Susanne “Susie” Ball, 41, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at her home. She was loved by so many. She was the devoted daughter of Roy Ball and Sylvia Pierce-Ball. Devoted sister of Mark D. Ball, Clayton J. Ball (CJ) and his fiancé Teresa Barlow, and Sister in Love, Patricia (Trish) Barton-Manuel. Loving niece of Myrtle Ball-Settle (Aunt Sis), Robert and Elaine Pierce. Dedicated Aunt to Kirstie L. Ball, Cleveland J. Ball, Shaianne T. Nickerson, Danielle Barlow, Taylor Barlow, and Dillon Barlow. Cherished friend of Stephen Karczmarek. She is also survived by numerous cousins and close friends who meant so much to her.
She attended Milligan College in Elizabethtown, TN. Susie worked as a quality control specialist. She was a member of Mountain Christian Church in Joppa, MD and enjoyed her missionary work as a youth in the United States and abroad.
The family will receive friends at Zellman Funeral Home, 123 S. Washington St. in Havre de Grace, MD, on Friday, October 18 from 1-3 & 5-7 P.M. Services will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 11 A.M. at Mountain Christian Church being held in the Cook Auditorium, 1824 Mountain Rd. in Joppa, MD. Interment following at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, located at 809 Rock Spring Rd. in Bel Air, MD. Contributions to the educational fund of the dearly loved nieces and nephew can be made directly to the family so that her legacy may live on.
