Obituary for Pearl Lee Hawkins (Kilgore)

Pearl Lee (Kilgore) Hawkins of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away at home surrounded by her family on April 2, 2014. She was 79. Mrs. Hawkins was born in Wise, Virginia, to the late Charles and Carrie DeBonis Kilgore. She was the wife of the late Harold Lilly Hawkins, loving mother of Charles H. Hawkins and his wife Jan, Jimmie L. Hawkins and his wife Cecilia and Carol A. Huna and her husband Mark. She was the adored grandmother of Todd Hawkins, Michelle Hawkins, Daniel Hawkins, Donald Hawkins and Joshua Huna and great-grandmother of Gabrielle Hawkins, Trent Hawkins, Ryan Hawkins, Lily Hawkins, Luke Hawkins and Benjamin Hawkins. She was the sister of the late Walter Kilgore. Mrs. Hawkins enjoyed flowers, gardening and word-find puzzles. She loved the pool. She is survived by her four legged companion “Brittany”. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. Officiating will be Pastor Noah Tharp Contributions may be made to Susquehanna Hose Company, P.O.
