Obituary for Ronald Francis Aspinall

Ronald Francis Aspinall


Ronald Francis Aspinall of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the University of Maryland Hospital. He was 70 years old.

Mr. Aspinall was born in Staten Island, New York to the Late Samuel and Edna (Cavaliere) Aspinall. He was a loving husband of 45 years to Barbara J. Aspinall.

Ronald was a devoted brother of Louis Marino of Tamarack, FL, Gary Marino of Lakeland, FL, Pat Soderlin and her husband Carl of Elkton, MD and Sandra Scotti and her husband Carlo of Tavernier, FL. He was a loving brother-in-law to Larry and Mildred Cianelli of Havre de Grace, MD and Mary Walker of Port Deposit, MD. He was adored by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Aspinall had retired from the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company as a Production Manager. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved building model boats and enjoyed any wood crafts. He was an amazing artist who was very talented and enjoyed painting. When he was younger he had volunteered for the Susquehanna Hose Company at House #5. Ronald enjoyed his motorcycle and loved to garden. His family described him as a wonderful cook.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 128 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078, where also at 7 PM a prayer service will be held.

A service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 10 AM, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078.

Officiating will be Father William O’Brien.

Pallbearers are Charles Owens, Wallace Reynolds, Robert Walker, Derek Rose, Rick Drennen, Brian Harmison

Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Cianelli, Carl Soderlin, Carlo Scotti

Interment will be held at HarfordMemorialGardens in Aberdeen, Maryland.
