Sara Edna Walker

Sara Edna Walker, born on September 18, 1930, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on September 19, 2011. She was 81.
She was born in Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania, to the late Herbert and Ada Neeper Cooper.
She was the wife of the late Hugh M. Walker. She was the beloved mother of Marcia B. McDaniel of Fayetteville, NC, Cynthia G. Mina of Nokomis, FL, and the late Sandra C. Tucker. She was the adored grandmother of John Michael McDaniel, the late Keith Allen McDaniel, Raymond Mina, Christopher Lee Mina, Sandra Pace, Tyler Tucker, great-grandmother of Kelli McDaniel, Jordan McDaniel, Haley McDaniel, Alisha McDaniel, Cashton Mina, Lakkun Mina, and the late Addison Mina. She was the dear sister of Alfred Cooper of Stewartstown, PA.
Mrs. Walker worked until retirement as the District Court Commissioner for Harford County. Her hobbies included BINGO, Rummikub, board games and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy and loved to spend time at the beach. She attended First Christian Church in Havre de Grace.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011, from 1:00- 3:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Tabernacle Cemetery, Whiteford, MD. Pastor Ronald L. Tabor will officiate.
