Suzanne Lawyer Kern

Suzanne Lawyer Kern of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. She was 72. She was born inMayberry, Maryland, to the late Raymond Lawyer, Sr., and Cora Bankert Lawyer. She was the wife of the late Louis R. Kern, Jr. She was the loving mother of Wayne Allen Kern and his wife Susan of Bel Air, MD and Lu Anne Kern Miller and her husband Kevin, of Aberdeen, MD, and was the adored grandmother of Amelia Miller, Andrew Kern, Evan Kern and Ryan Kern. She was the sister of Raymond Lawyer, Jr. of Taneytown, MD, Phillip Lawyer of Westminster, MD, Donald Lawyer of Taneytown, MD, Cindy Lawyer of Westminster, MD and Ted Lawyer of Gettysburg, PA. Mrs. Kern was a member of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, Friends of the Harford County Public Library, and Young at Heart. She enjoyed bowling and quilting and was a Maryland Terrapins Basketball Fan. She also loved spoiling her grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 3, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, Maryland. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 4, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Dr. Ray Roberson will officiate. Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Miller, Jr., Chris Norris, Randy Wilson, Andrew Kern, Scott Gribben, and Robert Wunderlick.
