The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Maxwell Landbeck can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Max and AA Recovery

Max was in my home group in Aberdeen.  I am a fellow alcoholic.  This is especially difficult since I have a son who just turned 21, who is also a very talented arrtist and musician, has won awards, etc, etc.  These talented men are a special breed of creatures to whom the Lord bestows many graces.  I attended the Memorial Service last night and although I am not a Mormon, I was very edified by the speeches given by Max's family.  I loved the way Max's father approached the tough topic of alcohol and drug addiction as well as mental illness.  I would like to think that the heavenly choir was in need of a very talented singer!  God Bless the Family.   I live very close to the train tracks where Max was struck.  I will think of him each and every time I walk that way or  ride past.   May the good Lord Jesus Christ give us all the strength to endure this tragedy.   Sandy, Alcoholics Anonymous member.
