Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Madelyn Shank can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Askew Family
Condolence: To the family- we are sorry for your loss. We know you miss her very much. Someone shared Jesus' words at John 5:28,29 with us when our grandfather died. We hope it brings you hope and comfort as it has for us.

Condolence From: Sara Kochenderfer
Condolence: Our most sincere sympathy goes out to Ellsworth, Mitch, and the other family members. Madelyn was a great asset to her hometown, in both her professional life at the funeral home and as a long-time volunteer in the community. Her many years of chairing the Candlelight Tour at the Lockhouse resulted in significant income for the museum. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Condolence From: David & Terri Glenn
Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Shank family. Take comfort in knowing that Madelyn left behind a treasure chest filled with precious memories that you can cherish forever. She was without a doubt a very special member of the city we are all so proud to call home. She defined through her example what "a living treasure truly was" and was living proof that people who truly care, can and do make a difference. Her candle burned out long before her memory ever will. With deepest sympathy,
