The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rev. Pastor Ed's ministry to Mount Savage

I came upon Pastor Ed's obituary in our local paper, and it saddens me that I never really thanked him for ministering to both our Family, and my former home town. I remember him ministering to my mom, who was fighting terminal cancer. His encouragement and grace gave her the spiritual support to put up the courageous battle she waged against her illness.

As a teenager, I  remember Ed  would walk down to the Monument in town, where the young people hung out at night. He didn't preach, or fuss with the kids, but he made his presence, and made sure no one got into trouble, and then everything would quiet down, and everyone would go home. I think he told people he couldn't sleep anyway, so he might as well join them. What a positve influence!
