Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rev. Edward Heydt can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Pastor Ed such a loving compassionate person. He always said I see you here or up there ..pointing towards the sky. He married me and my husband in 1992 in Friendship Md. while he was appointed at Carter's UMC.
Counseling sessions was fun. As I look at the photos he still had that smile. He loved the members and the fried chicken. He will greatly be miss.

Condolence: Debby, Ed is a person who I will never forget. I thank God that he put Ed in my life. You and Ed were both instrumental in our growth in pastoral ministry. There will always be fond memories of the many times both up and down when the four of us were together in fellowship, or when Ed was giving me his godly wisdom as it related to pastoral ministry. He was my brother in Christ, my mentor, truly a man of God, loved by all. Shirley and I pray God's peace and comfort for you. Love Shirley and Gary

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Heydt family. What a tremendous loss to the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church and the entire Havre de Grace community. Pastor Ed was one of those truly special volunteers who was always there to lend a hand. He was an invaluable member of the Ethics Commission. He was a great community leader. And the list goes on and on. It is people like Pastor Ed that have made Havre de Grace the hidden jewel of Maryland. While his physical presence may have been taken from us, trust us, he will never be forgotten. He will be sorely missed. With deepest sympathy,
