The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Kirkendall can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Boating Adventures

I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember Griffith family cruises with the Kirkendall family. My brothers and I were just children, but all of us had such adventures together...especially one weekend in late September when the weather turned. The waves were so very high...we would see the Kirkendall boat high on a wave in front of us and then it would disappear. Both boats did made it to Stillpond. Very thankful to God, the Coast Guard and our brave Dads who had the helm.
