The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edith Dry can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Edith,(Grandma), and family, I don't know where to begin....When I first met Edith, it was Love at first site...I got such a kick out of her. She came into my life right at the perfect time when I needed her the most. Edith would always crack me up with everything she would say and how she would say it..I thought she was so adorable, that I would take pictures of her and send them to my family in New York. It didnt take long until I considered Edith my family. I took care of her like she was my own mother. I loved her so much!!!I still Love her!! I miss you Edith with all my heart and soul. The most important thing to me is that you knew how much I Loved you. You felt it! I made sure of that..This has been quite a journey together. All the good coversations that we have had, cries on your shoulder, all the good advice you had given me, all the cooking we did together and most importantly all the wine that we drank together!! hahah!!!I am going to miss all of it!! I told Edith I would always be by her side and never leave her, I was there by her side until the moment had come for her to leave to heaven. The minute I told her that it was okay to go and not to be afraid was when she opened her eyes wide and took her last breath with Joyce and all of us around her bed. she had so much love and peace around her. I will never ever forget that moment for the rest of my life.. I Love you dearly my friend, always and forever...Gina~~~ Geenie..xoxoxoxo
