Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Zelma Breen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Mrs. Zell & Granny B.

Mrs. Zell and my Granny were very good friends and she was like our extra-Grandmother, (as our Granny probably was to her family). They were from a generation where people cared about and looked out for one another. They were everybody’s grannies and they reminded me of Lucy and Ethel. It seemed like they were always together. Besides being neighbors, they worked together and shared rides to and from work. Often after work, but always on the weekend, they had coffee together and discussed important things, such as who had sales on fabric and yarn, the latest diet craze, and new recipes. They were both excellent seamstresses. They shared ideas, techniques, patterns, and collaborated on many, and I mean MANY, sewing projects together. I remember when they were both sewing Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls. They worked intensely for long hours trying to keep up with orders. I was fortunate to be able to spend a lot of time with them and they were a lot of fun to be with.

God bless you and your family, and thanks Mrs. Zell. I’m grateful for the time, love, and laughter!

Love,

Jeanne
